There seems to be quite a bit of confusion about where to focus your marketing time. This tutorial will take you step by step through the recommend processes. You will learn what is required from each step and have a link to detailed instructions.

Step by Step Marketing Plan
Here is the key that helps you see how often you should do each of these steps. This is no small undertaking! Treat this just like a new business. We estimate that you'll spend a minimum of 300 hours before you make your first sale, and then at least 30 hours a month maintaining this. You can easily make this a full time job ( with full time pay )!
Do not plan to fail, or fail to plan - devote your time to this or do not even start it. There is no half way to run a business, and there is no excuse for half way marketing online either. We are available to assist you in any way possible, as we truly want to see you succeed.
A good way to set goals is not to focus on making any certain amount of dollars, instead, focus on putting a few hours a day regularly into this. If you do this, you'll succeed. These plans and principals are time tested and proven to work, everything is up to you. The only thing this plan lacks is the hard work.

| Overture Content Match | ? | This is reserved for extremely hot / profitable items. It's expensive to do for all of your items, but worth it for a your best sellers. |
| Yahoo Express Listing | ? | If you can afford it, this is a great way to get traffic within 7 days. Follow their rules exactly, it is $300 per year and worth it. This is not required, but recommended for the first year. |
| PPC Search Engines | M | A small budget of $50 or so per month is useful, but not necessary, more is not neccessarily better; you'll have to experiment. It helps with search engine placement, and likely will make you enough sales to easily justify it's cost, but again, this is not where to focus huge amounts of time. This is a budget you should maintain indefinately, adjusting to make sure you at least break even. |
