Why Do I Need Multi User Access to Paypal?
For our customers, sometimes we need access to the paypal records depending on the marketing deal we have made with them. This tutorial shows you how to setup paypal for secure, multi user access. You can limit the rights of some users to view only, or whatever you need them to do concerning paypal. Not everyone that has a paypal account needs to give other users any type of access to their account, but for those that do, this multi user access tutorial is available.
How Do I Set it Up?
Before you can add another user, you need more than one email address tied into your account. To setup an additional email:
- Log into Paypal
- Click on "my account"
- Click on "profile"
- Click on "email"
- Add an additional email and verify it, it doesn't matter what the email is, paypal just requires a secondary email.
Now that you have multiple emails, you can proceed to the multi user access setup:
- Log into Paypal if you are not already
- click on "my account"
- click on "profile"
- click on "multi user access"
- Add an additional user with their ID and password.
